A 1 inch jaw slide on a 7/8 inch bow will rotate freely under load and lose its set position. Measure your existing bow tubing with calipers before ordering replacement bimini top parts. Square-tube biminis use a separate hardware family, and round-tube fittings will not adapt cleanly.

Stainless Steel vs Nylon Fittings

316 stainless steel hardware is the durable standard for load-bearing fittings.

• 316 stainless: carries the full canopy load without flex, resists pitting in salt spray, and holds threaded fasteners under repeated tightening cycles.
• Nylon: lower cost and lighter weight, but softens in UV and can crack at the screw bosses after a few seasons. Appropriate only for non-load components such as strap clips, end caps, and internal washers.
