Top 10 New Boats Debuted at the 2020 Miami Boat Show

Miami Boat Show

Another year of the Progressive Miami International Boat Show has come and gone, and as anticipated, the 2020 show did not disappoint. What could easily be thought of as the annual “super bowl” of the boating industry, the Miami Boat Show had more than 1,400 boats on-display across 9 on-water piers and throughout multiple tents.

Organized by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the show is also host to the marine industry’s Innovation Awards, sponsored by the NMMA and Boating Writers International (BWI), to recognize “exceptionally groundbreaking new consumer marine products.” Among some of the winners and those judged, were new boats unveiled by a variety of manufacturers.

Some of the most exciting new releases from this year’s show include:

Regulator 24XO

One of the most anticipated debuts of this year’s show was Regulator’s latest model in their XO series of center console crossovers, the 24XO. Slightly smaller than the popular 26XO, the new 24-foot bay-boat style model features a 16-inch draft and modest deadrise. In terms of standard equipment, buyers can expect Yamaha F250 or optional F300, along with factory-installed Garmin electronics and the “signature Fiberglass T-Top with an Integrated Wraparound Windshield” design.

The Regulator team also introduced their 26XO with the newly released Yamaha XF425 engine package.

NauticStar 191 Hybrid

NauticStar caught the attention of show-goers in Miami with the launch of their 191 Hybrid, equipped with an all new hull design; however, it wasn’t the design that caused potential boat buyers to do a double-take—it was the price point. NauticStar is offering the 19-foot boat, with a trailer, all for under $30K.

The new design combines comfort and fishability, all the while delivering it in a compact, affordable package. The 191 is the fourth boat added to their Hybrid series, in addition to their 211, 231 and 251 Hybrids, which all provide “family-friendly pleasure boating in tournament-ready packages.”

The Super Air Nautique GS22E was “quietly taking charge” as it made its official launch in Miami.
